I'm missing the snow already!!

You know how it is. When it's there and you can't get to work, etc, etc, you moan. When it's gone, a nostalgic mood sets in for the romance of crisp clear air and white horizons. You can't win! Anyway, while I was stuck in, unable to get to the shop, I decided to catch up on some reading and came across a brilliant article from the Dr Hadwen Trust about the launch of their new website . The trust has been developing ways of doing medical research without using animals. When considering that most data from animal research is not viable for human testing and the pain inflicted is therefore futile and criminal by moral standards, it makes sense to support the trust. I have been supporting them for some years now and have been very impressed with the number of procedures that no longer require testing on animals. Go on take a look! Go on, go on, go on.

Agreed the Hadwin trust do some good things BUT the big problem is if you read the pro vivisection sites they can also appear to make a good argument for testing on animals, ~I not talking about putting lipstick on bunnies and that. But without doubt if Will or Lydia needed some medication to keep them alive and it had been tested on animals I would let them have it. Would it not be immoral for me not too?

Anyway are we gonna see ya before your birthday? I promise your present is 100% animal friendly :-)
